Mike hair pulling

Hi

My name is Mike.

I have pulled my hair for 24 years or so and am so glad to find out that I am not alone.

I used to think I was the only one who pulled his hair out and ate the white roots.

I am not alone! God, thank you all for writing.

It feels good to know you all know what I am talking about.

When we pull hair out, the feeling most people find is painful. How can we explain that we find it the best feeling ever and then to look at the white root and rub it on our lips to feel the coolness of the root and eat it.

Why do we do? Why?!?

Please, any one who has stopped doing this, let me know how I can stop pulling out my hair and eating the white roots.

Read about some of our members and how they

have grown to manage, and in many cases,

overcome, hair pulling.
